“Having just wrapped up our inaugural High School Lacrosse season, I along with Coach Bridge, Coach Forgione and Coach Powderly would like to thank the many people who helped make our season such a great success. Thanks to the efforts of AD Mike Lahiff, Headmaster Nofsker, members of the School Committee School Department Administration, Watertown Student Athletes were able to experience the great game of Lacrosse. We would like to also thank all the Parents who held pasta dinners, made sure our kids had Gatorades at their games and more importantly were a constant source of support cheering for our kids at all of our games. Thanks also to the players and parents of Watertown Youth Lacrosse for their constant support culminating with their hosting our end of season cookout celebration. We would also like to thank Frank Santarpio of the Watertown Tab, Al Ditulio and the staff of Watertown Cable for giving our kids the thrill of having their games in the newspaper and on TV.

Most importantly we would like to thank the 23 young men who had the courage to come out and be a part of bringing Lacrosse to Watertown High School. It is never easy to be the first to do anything. We pushed them hard and demanded high levels of commitment, dedication and hard work. They responded to the challenge and finished their season at 11-4 with an 8 game winning streak. Our goal all along was to bring a tradition of great teams and great success to Watertown High School Lacrosse. We are happy to say that thanks to the efforts of many, "
The Tradition Has Begun!”

Sincerely,

Watertown Boys Lacrosse Coaches
